On Thursday, the S&P 500 was up 0.4% and Toronto was about unchanged.
AutoCanada was up 4.1%, and Constellation Software was up 3.5%.
It’s hard to say if the issues Trump is facing will have much impact on stocks. There always seems to be some threat to the markets but most of the threats fizzle out. My approach would be to try to have some allocation to cash or short-term investments that can be used if markets do happen to decline.
