On Monday, markets were down modestly with the S&P 500 down 0.7% and Toronto down 0.6%

Melcor was up 3.9% and Stantec was up 3.6%.

I trimmed my position in Canadian Tire and TFI International today in order to move towards a more balanced allocation to cash and fixed income. I like these two companies but I had to sell something if I wanted to raise my cash allocation.

I spoke the CFO of CRH Medical today. He gave me assurances that notice of contract non-renewal that they has received in December was not an issue that affected other contracts. This was positive news and I am tempted to add to my position. But first I will do more analysis.
