On Friday, the S&P 500 was up 0.7% and Toronto was up 0.5%.
Wells Fargo was up 2.7% on indications that Trump would attempt to move forward with reducing certain regulations applicable to large financial companies. For the same reason, Bank of America was up 2.5%.
Visa was up 4.6% after posting a strong Q4 earnings report.
Amazon was down 3.5% after posting weak results.
I would think that the latest debates in U.S. politics over the weekend would be somewhat negative for stocks.
