Canadian Western Bank’s earnings report is out and is quite positive. There are never any guarantees but it seems silly that this bank’s shares have been pushed down quite close to book value. I grabbed a few more shares this morning at 3.5% higher than I paid yesterday. The positive earnings report reduces risk in my mind and the shares seem quite attractive.
